The tallest building in the world is now home to the highest observation deck in the world. Beginning Wednesday, a new deck on the 148th floor of the 2,717-foot-tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai is open to tourists. The view is 1,821 feet above street level, earning it the record for the highest observation deck on the planet, according to Guinness World Records. The previous record was held by Canton Tower in China, which has an observation deck 1,601 feet above the ground.
