Monica Lewinsky became a household name in the late 1990s when she had an affair with President Bill Clinton. And though she soon attempted to disappear from the public eye, the former White House intern’s name was immortalized in a different way: Through rap lyrics.
“Some of you might be asking, who the hell is she, this Monica? And what is she doing here?” Lewinsky said during the opening of her speech on cyberbulling at the Forbes Under 30 Summit on Monday. “Or maybe even, what is she doing in all of those rap lyrics? Thank you Beyoncé and Eminem, and Nicki Minaj, and Kid Cudi. Lil B and Lil Wayne. And of course G-Eazy. But let’s not forget Jeezy, and all the rest.”
