Carrie Bradshaw was the worst neighbor. With all the wearing heels in the house and dramatic late-night shouting scenes, her neighbors must have been going crazy. And even though it has been 10 years since the show’s last episode, Carrie Sarah Jessica Parker is still pissing off those West Village neighbors.
The West Village brownstone where Carrie lived despite all logic and New York real estate prices had a lovely facade, with a tall stoop that we often saw her running up and down in heels. That space is real, and the building residents authorized Sex and the City to use their building as Carrie’s residence and film at the location. But according to the New York Post, residents were really not prepared for how big of a thing Sex and the City would be, or how many busloads of tourists would be dropped off on their doorstep even 10 years after the show ended.
