With the news that David Lynch is bringing Twin Peaks back to TV in 2016 for a nine-episode run, the cult show is back in the zeitgeist. Or, really, maybe it just never left: Lynch’s best works have a strange way of burrowing in the cultural mindset, leaving odd ghosts behind in your brain.
