Comedy director Adam McKay has already gotten his foot in the door at Marvel Studios by doing a rewrite at the last minute on their Phase Three film Ant-Man (though he couldn't direct like they wanted him too). The move was surprising since McKay is better known for films like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Step Brothers (which will get a sequel at some point), but it sounds like Marvel enjoyed what he did on the page, and they're still interested in getting him behind the camera too. Speaking with Crave Online, McKay mentioned working on Ant-Man, and teased there might be something in the works.
