Grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog reunited at Neil Young's annual all-acoustic Bridge School Benefit concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre near San Francisco Saturday night, performing the song "Hunger Strike" from their lone self-titled studio album.
The band comprises Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, drummer Matt Cameron, bassist Jeff Ament, guitarists Mike McCready and Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, and, tangentially as well, Eddie Vedder. This was the first time since 2011 for the release of the documentary Pearl Jam Twenty that the band had reunited.
