Annabelle continues to scare up big business for New Line and Warner Bros., jumping the $200 million mark globally and winning the foreign box-office race with a weekend take of $26.5 million from 62 territories.
That includes a record-breaking $11.7 million launch in Mexico, the top opening of all time for a horror title, not accounting for inflation. It's also the third-biggest opening of the year after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Transformers: Age of Extinction.
