Two-time NBA MVP, eight-time all-star and all-around class act Steve Nash's sterling career is fading toward a sad end. A succession of injuries have robbed him of his ability to play basketball, forcing the 40-year-old point guard to sit out the final year of a contract that brought him to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2012.
Now, after a mini controversy erupted this week, Nash has addressed supporters and critics alike in an open letter to Lakers fans that he posted to his Facebook page.
