We stood silently in the middle of the Hoh Rainforest within Olympic National Park, the only sounds birds chirping, water drops falling and camera shutters clicking. Around us, streams babbled and unseen wildlife went about their daily, untouched lives amidst the trees that soar hundreds of feet towards the sky. The trance was broken only when Willie Nelson, our guide with All Points Charters (not the musician!), signaled it was time to continue along the loop trail to the next natural wonder at which to gaze in awe.
