Ozzy Osbourne was one of heavy metal’s forefathers. As the lead vocalist for Black Sabbath, he helped establish the genre in the ’70s before breaking out on his own solo musical career. So at the 2014 EMA, MTV honored Osbourne for his enormous contribution to music as a Global Icon.
