Jason Statham Finds Another Sequel with 'Mechanic: Resurrection' — firstshowing.net

After starring in several sequels, from Crank: High Voltage to The Transporter trilogy, not to mention next spring's Furious 7 (watch the awesome teaser trailer), Jason Statham has found yet another for his filmography. Variety has learned that Lionsgate has set Mechanic: Resurrection for release on January 22nd, 2016. The first film, The Mechanic, focused on Statham as "mechanic" Arthur Bishop, an elite assassin with a strict code and an ability to make kills look like accidents. When Bishop's mentor is killed, he took on his son (Ben Foster) as an apprentice and set out for revenge. So what's the sequel about now?
