Marie Claire recently gave a reporter the impossibly fun assignment of going out and getting drunk with Anna Kendrick. While this should have led to good times and quotes aplenty, the article (or what's available of it online) is basically just your typical lady mag word salad. Why oh why won't Marie Claire (or Kendrick's publicists) let the girl get goofy and sloppy?! To their credit, Kendrick—who's become known for her snappy repartee on social media—and interviewer Jessica Pressler (of New York Mag) were able to sneak the actress' signature wit in amongst the seemingly obligational descriptions of her slim frame and quirky personality.
