Billie Joe Armstrong is indulging his acting bug a bit during Green Day‘s downtime. The vocalist, who previously appeared on Broadway in the band’s ‘American Idiot’ production, and has guested on TV’s ‘Nurse Jackie’ and had a cameo in the movie ‘This Is 40,’ will appear in the new movie ‘Geezer.’ According to Variety, the movie is music comedy following a father in the midst of a mid-life crisis who holds a lavish 40th birthday party where he runs into his ex-girlfriend and former bandmates who have all moved on with their lives.
