The Warner Music Group has completed its acquisition of Gold Typhoon Group, a China-based entertainment company and record label with a catalog of over 600,000. As part of its entry into the world's most populous nation, the Warner Music Group has also begun a strategic partnership with Tencent Holdings Ltd, to distribute WMG's repertoire and manage all new releases to all Chinese audio services (except for mobile carriers), which will be overseen by Warner Music China.
