There will be nothing understated this summer when the Boston Symphony Orchestra celebrates the 75th anniversary of its summer music academy, the Tanglewood Music Center: Andris Nelsons will conduct the center’s orchestra in a performance of Mahler’s “Symphony of a Thousand,” featuring three choruses and a roster of star soloists including Christine Goerke, Klaus Florian Vogt and Matthias Goerne.
