Mystery fans will rejoice at the popular Courmayeur Noir festival under the shadow of the Alps. Thriller lovers descend annually on the exclusive ski-town in Italy to take in the latest and best film noir and literature of the year. Co-directed by Giorgio Gosetti and Marina Fabbri, the 24th edition is marked by a number of recent award winners and Italian premieres.
Competing for the main prize this year are Things People Do by Saar Klein, where a man turns to a life of crime to support his family, and the Cannes Un Certain Regard pick Andrew Hulme’s Snow in Paradise.
