Google’s Niantic Labs took gaming to the next level when they first launched Ingress just two years ago. Back then, you had to have an invite to play and invites were highly sought after. Since then, Ingress has been released to the public and has taken an almost constantly active role in their gaming community. This includes large, worldwide events and their new Missions feature. Just how well is the game doing? Apparently quite well. Today, Niantic Labs have announced some stats about Ingress that round out the last two years rather nicely.
