This week, Rockstar Games releases the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One and Playstation 4. This new version features 162 new songs across 17 in-game radio stations, the most notable of which is an unreleased Flying Lotus track entitled “Medication Meditation”. The latest addition to FlyLo FM definitely lives up to its name: a hazy, psychedelic-inspired concoction of angelic vocal samples, thudding drums, and plenty of sweeping strings. Adding to the inherent tripiness is the rapid-fire verses of one Krayzie Bones, as the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper offsets the surreal beat with rhymes about interstellar travel and hallucinogens.
