Amid sessions for The Kills’ upcoming fifth studio album, singer Alison Mosshart has spent the last few months engaged in a variety of side projects. She’s released several new tracks with The Dead Weather, most recently “Buzzkill(er)”, and collaborated with Gang of Four for their upcoming LP What Happens Next. Now, Mosshart has teamed with Nashville musician Eric Arjes for “Bad Blood”, an original composition appearing on the soundtrack to Walking Dead. Standing at the crossroads between country and minimalist electronic, this brooding ballad finds Mosshart painfully lamenting all the “bad blood” that flows through her veins.
