By this point in his career, A-Trak should probably be known as Multi-Track. The former Billboard cover star (real name Alain Macklovitch, a last name you might recognize from his brother Dave, who goes by Dave 1 in the electro-funk duo Chromeo) is a DJ and producer, scratcher and turntablist; he co-runs a record label, Fool's Gold, responsible for some of the hottest up-and-coming acts and the summer's literally hottest traveling festival, Day Off, which wraps in Miami in early December; and, on top of all that, he's currently working on a forthcoming EP with Cam'ron, Federal Reserve, Low Pros, a trap project with producer Lex Luger whose EP dropped earlier this year, and Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden.
