Who Rests In Alexander The Great's Tomb? — forbes.com

A tomb that many believe was intended for Alexander the Great is starting to yield its secrets half a century after it was discovered. Finds from the burial chambers at Amphipolis, including a remarkable hoard of mosaics and sculptures, were unveiled by archaeologists at the Ministry of Culture in Athens yesterday (29 Nov). Among the discoveries made at the 2,300-year-old site is a floor mosaic showing the abduction of Zeus’s daughter Persephone, the goddess of spring, by Pluto, Lord of the Underworld.
