Peter Pan may never grow up, but he has certainly changed over the years. Since J.M. Barrie first published his play Peter and Wendy, later to be known as Peter Pan, children and adults alike have been captivated by a world of pirates, fairies and a boy who would never grow up. Since Barrie's first version of the story in 1904, Hollywood has adapted the beloved tale of Peter Pan, Captain Hook and the Darling children into many films, miniseries and television shows, including the most recent iteration — NBC's Peter Pan Live, airing Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
