As the old adage goes, if you build a pool, a thirsty giraffe will come. Upon returning to their bungalow after breakfast, a couple recently staying at Kariega Game Reserve in South Africa was pleasantly surprised to find a tall new friend slurping from their elevated backyard pool. According to Barcroft TV, the pool was unchlorinated and perfectly safe to drink. Though the giraffe spotted the couple peering at him through the window, he seemed relatively unfazed and continued to drink until he was satisfied.
