Wes Welker has had an interesting 2014 season. He began the season suspended four games for violating the league’s performance enhancing drug policy. That suspension was later reduced to two games, and Welker returned to the same pass-happy offense that scored over 600 points in 2013.
In his first two games of the season, Welker was targeted 18 times and hauled in 13 of those passes. It looked like Welker was picking up where he left off as an integral part of the passing game.
