From the first saddlery pieces to the legendary Kelly or Birkin bags, since 1837 the French house has been working skins into fine leather goods. Today, the city of Tokyo pays tribute to this leather-working legacy with the Leather Forever exhibition at Tokyo National Museum, until December 23.
