Neil Patrick Harris was up for it. So was Joel McHale. But the job of replacing Craig Ferguson as host of CBS' The Late Late Show ended up going to a guy almost nobody in America had ever heard of.
And James Corden wasn't even completely sure he wanted it. "I was going back and forth about whether this was the right thing for my family and me," says the 36-year-old British actor, who'll be relocating his wife and two young children from London to L.A. in order to take over Ferguson's 12:35 a.m. time slot beginning March 9.
