Last night the Upper East Side was buzzing: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were at the Met and then a few blocks south at haute boîte Sant Ambroeus, Tommy Hilfiger hosted a party for fellow designer Vince Camuto to celebrate the launch of his book, Life of Style. The author and his wife Louise were toasted by a bevy of young designers including CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Paul Andrew and runners-up Eva Zuckerman of Eva Fehren and Ryan Roche along with previous contestants including Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin of Tome, Gigi Burris, Brett Heyman of Edie Parker, and the Orley crew. Sprinkled throughout the restaurant, which was festively decorated with wreaths and garlands in shades of red, were Marigay McKee, Jamie Tisch, and Dee Ocleppo. With the holidays only a few weeks away—and the slew of parties and events that come with them—this particular occasion felt like the rare chance to relax amongst friends and toast up-and-coming fashion talent.
