Watching tUnE-yArDs perform live is truly something to behold, as Merrill Garbus and her band lay out a smorgasbord of complicated sounds that somehow come together to create intricate pop music. Such a spread wowed Robert Plant when tUnE-yArDs played “Water Fountain” on Jools Holland earlier this year, and last night it was America’s turn to behold the aural feast.
