There seems to be a little misunderstanding of the lessons to be drawn from the mess Spain has made over Google Google News. There’s also the fact that Google does indeed produce Google News around the world without taking advertising on it but the fact that it produces it must mean there is some benefit to doing so even in the absence of such a direct revenue stream.
