Just before the end of the second quarter, Gay drove to the basket and threw down a poster dunk over Thunder forward Serge Ibaka, drawing a foul in the process. Gay hit the ensuing free throw, and his 11 points tied for the team lead at the half with backup guard Ramon Sessions. However, the Thunder came up with the 104-92 win.
