Kudrow's reprisal of the character she played almost a decade ago on the HBO hit won the TV Performance of the Year – Actress award at the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday night.
"Thank you for this honor. It's such a huge honor," said Kudrow, 51, in her acceptance speech. She also thanked HBO, the network that brought the show back to fans, and her costars and co-creator Michael Patrick King.
The award was presented to the former Friends star by Sean Hayes, who said of Kudrow on the show, "She acts like she's not acting and manages to do it in a way that is funny, believable and truly entertaining."
