Sometimes a band needs some time away from music before they can return with renewed vigor. More than a decade ago, Crazy Town had a No. 1 hit with "Butterfly" from their debut album The Gift of Game. But after 2002's Darkhorse, the band broke up. "Megatron" is raw stadium rock with a tumbling beat. Initially, Crazy Town didn't plan to record a whole album. “After the response we got at the European festivals this past summer, I approached Seth [Binzer] about releasing a couple of songs we had written," says Bret Mazur, who co-founded the band with him. "At first it wasn’t at all about doing a whole new record, but just finishing these songs." But it turned out that "the vibe in the studio was great, and a couple of new songs turned into a whole new record.”
