For a rapper whose rhymes contain myriad euphemisms for white powder, it’s no surprise Pusha T’s new sneaker comes in milky cream tones. Pusha T, né Terrence Thornton, this week unveiled his new collaboration with Adidas Adidas – an EQT EQTmade from Italian leather and natural carp fish scales. “I wanted to actually do a soccer jersey but it was a little edgy – I was taking countries’ [jerseys] and putting cartel names on the back,” Pusha T recalls while backstage at the launch party for his shoe in SoHo’s Adidas store. “It was a bit much.”
