Having already designated reliever Brian Wilson for assignment, the Los Angeles Dodgers decided to release the 32-year-old. Brian Wilson, who was designated for assignment on Tuesday, has been released. Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times initially broke news of the move: The #Dodgers have released Brian Wilson, whom they recently DFA'd. Wilson had a strong first season with the Dodgers, posting a 0.66 earned run average and striking out 13 batters in 13.2 innings. He also pitched six scoreless innings in the 2013 playoffs.
