Renee Fleming is no stranger to the Metropolitan Opera or Carnegie Hall stages. But the world-renowned soprano and four-time Grammy winner will venture for the first time to Broadway in the spring, when she'll star as -- what else? -- a celebrated diva in Joe DiPietro's new comedy, Living on Love.
Directed by Kathleen Marshall, the play had a well-received premiere this past summer at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in a production that also featured Douglas Sills, Anna Chlumsky and Justin Long. However, only Fleming has so far been announced for the Broadway transfer.
