The new system, designed at UK's Plymouth University fuses tech and music allowing people to compose melodies using their eyes. The brain computer music interface (BCMI) uses electrodes plugged into the back of the head. Musician Eduardo Miranda, pictured in his University of Plymouth research lab, is the man behind the tech. He wanted to design a piece of equipment that would help people living with paralysis after meeting a patient with locked in syndrome 11 years ago.
