How to Make Snowflake Tortillas — tastebook.com

Remember folding up paper and cutting it into snowflake shapes in grade-school art class? Well, you can use the same technique with tortillas to create this pretty snack that’ll brighten up any winter table. Kids and adults can work together to create these sweet treats out of soft flour tortillas. I used Mission Super Soft Tortillas, and decorated them with sprinkles, colored sugar, and flaky Maldon sea salt. The large flakes of salt and blue sanding sugar reflect the light, giving the crunchy, warm tortillas an icy sparkle. Serve as a dessert or an appetizer, alone or with crème fraîche for dipping.
