From penguins to tigers, all the animals at London Zoo are being counted — mashable.com

LONDON — It's that time of the year again for the residents of London Zoo — the annual census. Keepers face a tough first week of work in 2015 as they count every mammal, bird, reptile, fish and invertebrate living in the Regent's Park Zoo. The count is a requirement of the Zoo's licence and when completed, the information is added to the International Species Information System. London Zoo is home to more than 750 different species and there were lots of new additions during 2014, including 10 Humboldt penguin chicks, three Sumatran tiger cubs and a female baby gorilla.
