For the second year in a row, college football players competing in the BCS National Championship Game will be asked to miss their first day of Spring classes to accommodate national television schedules and maximize the broadcast revenues derived from the game. Last year, it was the college football players at Florida State University who were asked to miss their first-day of Spring classes to play in a prime time Monday night game.  This year, it is the football players at Ohio State University who are required to make the same sacrifice to play in the Monday night game on ESPN ESPN.
