PASADENA, Calif. — About 72 hours into the job, new Discovery Channel president Rich Ross is ready for a course correction. The new boss at the network most recently famous for promising viewers a chance to see a man eaten by a snake says he's looking to reset Discovery's image. SEE ALSO: Man eaten by anaconda is why nature hates us "I would say the most important thing is that this network and flagship of this company could stand for is, if there was one word, it would be authentic," he told reporters during the second day of the Television Critics Association press tour, taking place over the next two weeks in Pasadena. "It's really important that we look into this incredible brand and all the programming we make and make sure that's what we stand for."
