With the recent announcement that Steven Gerrard will be the leaving Liverpool of the Premier League and joining Los Angeles Galaxy of MLS in July the long goodbye has officially kicked off. Many of the articles penned in the last seven days have been built on the discussion as to whether or not Gerrard is the greatest player in Liverpool’s history.
