architectural artist adam reed tucker has unveiled an eight by four foot LEGO model of frank lloyd wright‘s taliesin west residence. the mini-structure, which is formed from more than 180,000 standard bricks, was completed with a group of 30 local schoolchildren who helped put the final pieces of the model in place. working in accordance with LEGO’s certified professional program, tucker spent 40 hours researching and studying the project, 120 hours designing the model itself and 260 hours constructing the final version of taliesin west. the project remains on display at the home’s pavilion in arizona until the end of april, 2015.
