Michael Bay is still planning on making a Benghazi movie, and it appears that things are picking up as the first castmember has been found. Variety reports that John Krasinski is in talks to take on one of the lead roles in the Paramount Pictures film, which recounts the 2012 attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi, Libya, revolving around the six-man security team that fought to defend it. It is, quite simply, the most serious subject matter that Bay has tackled in his career, and marks quite the shift from the Transformers franchise. More after the jump.
