Pharrell Williams Is Collaborating With Al Gore… On Live Earth's Return — billboard.com

Live Earth is returning June 18, 2015, with over 100 artists playing across seven continents to raise environmental awareness. Pharrell Williams is serving as creative director, helping co-founders Al Gore and Kevin Wall to choose who those artists will be. The announcement came today (Sept. 21), as Pharrell joined the Live Earth leaders onstage at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Is Pharrell performing? He wouldn't say, as none of the artists have been revealed yet and he chose to place emphasis on the mega concert's mission: urging world leaders to approve a new climate accord at Paris' United Nations Climate Change Conference, beginning Nov. 30, 2015.
