Davila started his career with Mexican club Guadalajara. He spent his first years in the youth system, playing for Tapatio, where he scored three times in 18 appearances.
Eventually he made his senior debut with Chivas. Although he didn't get much playing time—he appeared in 15 Liga MX games and in five Copa Libertadores matches between 2009 and 2011—Davila proved to be a bright footballer.
