Weather phenomenon turns Grand Canyon into sea of clouds — mashable.com

The Grand Canyon was looking a bit under the weather, literally, after a temperature inversion caused clouds to settle inside the canyon's rim on Wednesday. A layer of low-lying clouds produced the spectacular sight, and turned the canyon into a sea of clouds. Thirty minutes of cloud movement is sped up in this time-lapse footage, above, recorded at Hopi Point on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
