Now he’s back making wintry Icelandic guitar pop with his main gig, Bang Gang, who will release their fourth album sometime in the spring. Today, Johannsson shared the record’s first single, “Out Of Horizon,” a snowy, minor-key pop construct — perfect for the lingering gray days of mid-winter. Or to hear Johannsson describe it: “This song is like a drive to an unknown space where everything is accepted and nothing is condemned.” Bang Gang have been mostly inactive since putting out 2008′s Ghosts From The Past, so a new full-length is something to get excited about.
