TOPSHOP has named Jacqui Markham as its new global design director, who will work alongside its creative director - and Vogue contributing editor - Kate Phelan in heading up the in-house design team.
Markham is no stranger to Topshop, having worked there for 14 years before departing to become womenswear design director at Asos.com. Her new role replaces that of design director, which was held by Emma Farrow until recently, and has been created to "re-focus the design and product development areas" of the brand, according to a statement this morning.
