Clarius Entertainment has answered the call for Cell, nabbing U.S. rights for the thriller starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.
Directed by Tod "Kip" Williams, the Benaroya Pictures and Genre Company film is based on Stephen King's novel. Also starring Isabelle Fuhrman and Stacy Keach, the film centers on a powerful signal that is broadcast across mobile networks worldwide, instantly and dangerously re-programming cell phone users' minds. Heading north through New England in search of his wife and son, Clay Riddell (Cusack) is joined by a group of survivors hoping to fend off the bloodthirsty "phoners."
