One of the most compelling tracks from Miranda Lambert's chart-topping album Platinum is the dreamily romantic "Holding on to You." The tune is the result of a seemingly effortless co-writing session the country superstar had with friends Ashley Monroe and Jessi Alexander.
"You ever write songs and are just, like, trudging through and trudging through and you can't ever, ever resolve?" Lambert asks her co-authors in this exclusive "Behind the Song" video. (Watch the clip above.) Although the three of them agree that can definitely be the case from time to time, the writers also concur that the aforementioned song was an exception to that rule, and "one that wrote itself."
